Lakers have drafted three players from University of Florida

The Los Angeles Lakers have selected three players from the University of Florida in the NBA Draft. Joe Hobbs was taken in the ninth round of the 1958 draft, Brooks Henderson in the fourth round of the 1965 draft, and Gary Keller in the sixth round of the 1967 draft. Despite their selection, none of the three players played in the NBA. This highlights the Gators' evolving basketball program, which has seen significant success since hiring coach Billy Donovan in 1996.
