Lakers interested in trading for Cameron Johnson from Nuggets

Denver is facing financial constraints which could lead to the potential departure of Johnson, who is on an expiring contract worth $23.06 million for the upcoming season. Johnson, at 6-foot-8, can play both small forward and power forward, providing lineup flexibility for Los Angeles. He averaged 12.2 points per game during his first season with Denver, down from 18.8 points with the Brooklyn Nets in 2024-25. Other teams such as the Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, Los Angeles Clippers, and Orlando Magic have also shown interest in Johnson.
