The Los Angeles Lakers will compete in the NBA Cup Group Play beginning on October 30 against the Golden State Warriors in San Francisco. This marks their fourth meeting with the Warriors in October, following two preseason games and a regular season opener on October 21. The Lakers will also face the Portland Trail Blazers on November 6, Sacramento Kings on November 20, and San Antonio Spurs on November 27. The tournament's knockout rounds are scheduled from December 4-9, with the final taking place on December 11 in Indianapolis at Butler's Hinkle Fieldhouse.
