LaLiga announces squad cost limits for the 2026-2027 season

LaLiga has released the official Squad Cost Limits for all First and Second Division clubs for the 2026-2027 season. The combined spending cap for the First Division reaches €3,109.67 million, representing a 15 percent increase from the previous campaign. Real Madrid maintains the highest limit in the top flight at €832.79 million, while FC Barcelona recorded the largest individual increase with a 65.9 percent rise to €582.77 million. In contrast, Sevilla FC faces a reduction in its limit to €20.16 million. Relegated clubs saw significant impacts, Real Oviedo, which experienced a 54 percent decrease in its spending capacity following its drop to the Second Division. These figures, reported in thousands of euros, determine the financial frameworks for teams across both professional tiers as the current season proceeds.
