Lamar Jackson and Jesse Minter rank second among new QB-head coach duos
Summary

The Baltimore Ravens begin the 2026 season expecting to contend for the Super Bowl, aided by the combination of quarterback Lamar Jackson and new head coach Jesse Minter. CBS Sports ranked this duo as the second-best among new NFL pairings, just below the Buffalo Bills' Josh Allen and Joe Brady. Jackson, a two-time MVP, should benefit from improved health, while Minter's reputation enhances the team's prospects. The Ravens are positioned to make a deep playoff run if Jackson remains healthy and Minter delivers strong leadership.
