Lamar Jackson challenges Ravens' young pass catchers at training camp

Lamar Jackson expressed confidence in the Baltimore Ravens' young receiving corps ahead of training camp on July 29, 2026. While he appreciates their potential, he urged them to translate that into on-field performance. With established players like Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman, Mark Andrews, and Derrick Henry, Jackson emphasized the need for young receivers like Ja’Kobi Lane and Elijah Sarratt to earn his trust. Jackson, who noted the age gap between himself and some rookies, stated that past recognition doesn't assure success; production on the field is what counts. He indicated that the new players will have opportunities to prove themselves throughout camp and the preseason.
