Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson begins the 2026 NFL season facing scrutiny following an injury-plagued campaign last year. Jackson heads into a Week 1 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts under the direction of new head coach Jesse Minter and offensive coordinator Declan Doyle. The two-time MVP struggled with decreased mobility and a lower completion percentage during the previous season, which saw the team miss the playoffs. Jackson currently has two years remaining on his contract and is working to integrate into a new offensive system. Defensive lineman Nnamdi Madubuike and receiver Zay Flowers were both limited in recent practice due to injuries. Meanwhile, the team continues to await the outcome of an NFL investigation regarding an arrest involving Rashod Bateman.
