Lamine Yamal claims he and Mbappé are the two best players in the world

Barcelona's Lamine Yamal stated that he and Real Madrid's Kylian Mbappé should be considered the top players in football. This assertion comes ahead of the 2026 Ballon d'Or ceremony, where both players are nominees. Yamal emphasized that the Ballon d'Or criteria center around individual talent rather than team success. He highlighted their performances, with himself playing a key role in Spain's World Cup victory and Mbappé setting the all-time scoring record during the tournament.
