Lando Norris says McLaren is three months behind F1 rivals

Lando Norris stated that McLaren is "three months behind" other Formula 1 teams in car development ahead of the Austrian Grand Prix. He noted that the team has struggled in the current season, trailing series leaders Mercedes significantly in points. As of now, McLaren drivers have only two podium finishes from the first eight races. Team principal Andrea Stella confirmed the need for car upgrades, estimating a deficit of three to four tenths of a second per lap. Both Norris and teammate Oscar Piastri aim to close the gap over the coming months through further updates and improvements.
