Landon Huffman dominates Late Model feature at Tri-County Speedway

Tri-County Speedway launched its Speed Week schedule last Saturday with a slate of events headlined by the Smart Electric 335. Landon Huffman secured the 100-lap Late Model feature victory after overtaking Sam Butler, who led the opening 15 laps. In the limited 50-lap feature, Owen Wilson claimed the win following a late-race lead exchange with Jackson Sparks. Sheflon Clay took the Outlaw feature by leading all 35 laps, while John Reynolds continued his performance in the Street Stock division. Post-race inspection resulted in a disqualification for Klint Townsend in the Renegade feature, handing the win to Kyle Dubeau. Other regional racing included action at Hickory Motor Speedway, where Michael Bumgarner led every lap of the 125-lap Bobby Isaac Memorial. The track schedule continues with the ASA national tour on Wednesday and the CARS Tour this Saturday.
