Las Vegas Raiders add cornerback Darrell Luter Jr. to active roster

The Las Vegas Raiders acquired cornerback Darrell Luter Jr. off the waiver wire following the conclusion of training camp. The move came after significant interest from other teams for the four-year professional. Luter joins the Raiders’ depth chart to serve as a backup cornerback and special teams contributor. He previously spent time with the San Francisco 49ers, where he played over 500 snaps on special teams across three seasons. While Luter has limited regular-season defensive experience, he recorded three starts in 2025. The team added him to address secondary depth after finalizing their initial 53-man roster.
