Las Vegas Raiders assess offensive guard competition during offseason practices

The Las Vegas Raiders are focusing on an offensive guard competition as offseason practices unfold. With an offensive line overhaul, including the acquisition of Tyler Linderbaum and Spencer Burford, the Raiders are looking to improve after struggling last season. Jackson Powers-Johnson, who faced injuries, and Burford are among the candidates vying for key roles. The team is transitioning back to a wide zone system, emphasizing run game improvement and pass protection. This transition could allow players like Powers-Johnson to excel on either guard side.
