Las Vegas Stadium Authority approves public funding for Allegiant Stadium upgrades

The Las Vegas Stadium Authority has approved $75 million in public funding toward a $158 million project to upgrade access at Allegiant Stadium. The Raiders will contribute the remaining $83 million for the construction. The plan focuses on extending an elevated walkway to improve fan movement to the north side of the facility. Raiders president Sandra Douglass Morgan stated that current infrastructure on the north side is operating at capacity and creates a pressure point for guests attending games. Work on the project is scheduled to begin after the 2026 NFL season concludes. The stadium upgrades are expected to be finished in time for the venue to host its second Super Bowl in 2029.
