Latreveon McCutchin records five pressures in Houston win over Oregon State

Houston Cougars linebacker Latreveon McCutchin produced a career-high five pressures and his first sack of the season during a 33-20 win over Oregon State on September 5. The senior linebacker, who transitioned to the hybrid JACK position, recorded his sack in the final 30 seconds of the first half to force a punt. McCutchin entered the season opener focused on rebounding from a 2025 performance against the same opponent he described as his worst career outing.
