Lauren Jackson backs Indiana Fever for WNBA championship title

Former WNBA champion Lauren Jackson endorsed the Indiana Fever to win the league championship during an appearance on the Bird’s Eye View podcast. Jackson cited her appreciation for the playing styles of Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell, alongside her connection to assistant coach Tully Bevilaqua, as reasons for her support. The Fever entered the break following a strong run, having won seven of their previous nine contests. During that stretch, Clark averaged 25.4 points and 9.4 assists, while Mitchell recorded 28.1 points per game on 50.8 percent shooting from behind the arc. The team now prepares to transition that regular-season momentum into the playoffs. Meanwhile, attention remains focused on the status of league stars during the FIBA Women’s World Cup.
