Lazio will not sign Brighton centre-back Diego Coppola, who will instead rejoin Paris FC. This decision follows Lazio's agreement to sell defenders Alessio Romagnoli and Mario Gila, prompting the need for new defensive signings. Although Coppola was on Lazio's shortlist, the 22-year-old struggled at Brighton and spent part of last season on loan at Paris FC, where he became a regular starter. Lazio's focus will now shift to securing other defensive options, including 21-year-old Sergi Dominguez from Dinamo Zagreb.
