Lazio pursue free agents Diogo Leite, Joao Silva, and Panzo

Lazio are in negotiations with free agents Diogo Leite, Joao Silva, and Panzo to strengthen their defensive lineup. Although the official transfer window has closed, Italian clubs retain the ability to sign players currently out of contract. The club identified a need for reinforcements following the departure of Alessio Romagnoli to Al-Sadd. Diogo Leite, a 27-year-old central defender formerly of Union Berlin, remains a target, though Lazio faces competition from Al-Ettifaq for his services. The team is also evaluating other options, including Joao Silva and former Birmingham City player Panzo. While David Alaba is also linked to the club, his acquisition is considered unlikely at this stage.
