Lazio pursues Swedish wingers as Albert Gudmundsson transfer remains uncertain

Lazio is currently evaluating alternatives to Fiorentina forward Albert Gudmundsson with the summer transfer window closing in less than 24 hours. While the clubs previously reached an agreement on a loan deal with an option to buy, the move is currently stalled. Sporting director Angelo Fabiani is looking to finalize an attacking addition before the deadline, provided the club can facilitate player sales like Matteo Cancellieri. To bolster their options, Lazio has identified wingers Isak Bjerkebo of Sirius and Hammarby’s Montader Madjed as potential targets. Bjerkebo has recorded 13 goals and five assists this season, while Madjed offers a left-footed option for the right side of the pitch. The club aims to conclude its transfer activity shortly, contingent on offloading existing squad members.
