Lazio pursues Yanis Begraoui to replace outgoing forward Boulaye Dia

Lazio is in advanced negotiations to sign Estoril forward Yanis Begraoui following the departure of Boulaye Dia. Dia is set to join Stade Rennais on a loan deal with a purchase option totaling €10 million after receiving clearance to travel for a medical. The vacancy in the Lazio attack coincides with the departures of Petar Ratkov, who is expected to join Levante, and Gabriele Artistico, who moved to Padova. With Andrea Pinamonti remaining the only primary center-forward under manager Gennaro Gattuso, the club prioritized a new signing. Reports indicate Lazio is discussing a deal involving a €4 million loan fee and a €9 million purchase option for Begraoui. The Moroccan international scored 20 league goals last season and has recorded two goals in four appearances during the current campaign.
