Lazio seeks to acquire Fiorentina forward Albert Gudmundsson

Lazio is pursuing the acquisition of Fiorentina forward Albert Gudmundsson, who is regarded as a fringe player at the club. The Icelandic international, previously a standout at Genoa, has struggled to find consistent form since his €17 million transfer to Fiorentina in the summer of 2024. Following Fiorentina's recent 0-3 home defeat to Frosinone, Gudmundsson's future is uncertain, especially with Torino winger Alieu Njie potentially joining Fiorentina. Lazio has expressed significant interest and is in talks to evaluate the cost of signing Gudmundsson, who is open to the move to Rome.
