Lazio is reportedly pursuing Cagliari striker Sebastiano Esposito as the club seeks to enhance its offensive capabilities. This decision comes after a season in which no player on the squad scored more than five goals across all competitions. Amid the search for firepower, sporting director Angelo Fabiani identified Esposito as the top target, contingent on financial maneuvers involving Daniel Maldini or other squad members. Esposito had a successful season at Cagliari, contributing eight goals and five assists across 39 matches. Inter Milan retains a 40% sell-on clause should Cagliari opt to sell him in the future.
