Lebanon County opens fan voting for weekly high school athlete honors

Local sports fans in Lebanon County can now vote for the top performers from the opening week of the fall season. Eight athletes are nominated for the first athlete of the week awards covering performances between Aug. 24 and Aug. 29. The public poll is hosted online and remains active from Aug. 31 until noon on Sept. 3. This follows the first week of competition which included an opening win for the Northern Lebanon football team during the debut of coach Nate Monroe. Residents wishing to submit future nominations must email Zavier Gussett by noon each Sunday with the athlete's name, sport, and details of their accomplishment.
