LeBron James ranked No. 28 heading into 2026-27 season with Sixers

LeBron James is ranked as the No. 28 player in the NBA as he joins the Philadelphia 76ers for the 2026-27 season. Coming off a 2025-26 campaign with the Los Angeles Lakers where he averaged 20.9 points, 7.2 assists, and 6.1 rebounds, James prepares for his 24th season. The Sixers signed him to a two-year, $8 million contract, integrating him alongside talents like Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey. Analysts consider the potential for his scoring to decrease as he focuses on playmaking in a stronger lineup. His performance may hinge on how much he shares the ball during the season, especially with championship ambitions in sight.
