Leeds United prepare for season opener against Nottingham Forest
Summary

Leeds United will face Nottingham Forest at the City Ground in their 2026/27 Premier League season opener on Saturday afternoon. Leeds, coming off a 14th-place finish last season, looks to build on recent form while facing a challenging opponent that has won their last four home league matches against them. Manager Daniel Farke has made several summer signings, including James Trafford, and aims to field a strong lineup. However, Leeds will be without Willy Gnonto and Gabriel Gudmundsson due to injuries, with Ilia Gruev's involvement uncertain. Leeds hopes to assert themselves early in the season, despite past struggles on the road.
