Leeds United target Jean-Mattéo Bahoya after Hull City transfer bid fails

Leeds United are pursuing a deadline-day transfer for Eintracht Frankfurt winger Jean-Mattéo Bahoya. The 21-year-old recently declined a move to Hull City, despite that club's strong start to the campaign. Leeds United manager Daniel Farke is seeking reinforcements after losing out to Tottenham Hotspur for the loan signing of Mykhailo Mudryk. Bahoya has played for Eintracht Frankfurt since January 2024, recording seven goals in 78 appearances during his tenure with the German club. Leeds United management hopes to finalize a deal for the Frenchman before the transfer window closes. The club remains active in the market to bolster its attacking options following the recent failure to secure Mudryk.
