Leeds United Women players visit girls football foundation camp

Leeds United Women midfielders Monique Watson and Alice Hughes visited a Leeds United Foundation girls' football camp held at The Grammar School at Leeds during the summer holidays. The event welcomed participants aged seven to 15 of all ability levels to train on the indoor pitch. Watson and Hughes participated in the sessions and hosted a Q&A to discuss their professional experiences and mental preparation for competitive play. Following the clinic, several participants attended the Leeds United Women match where the team recorded a 3-2 victory over Halifax Women. The players noted the importance of providing visibility for the next generation of female footballers. The initiative is part of an ongoing effort by the club and the Foundation to strengthen community ties and demonstrate professional pathways to young athletes.
