Lennox rallies to defeat Groton 2-1 in Class B first round

The Lennox Bandits overcame an early 1-0 deficit to defeat Groton Locke Electric 2-1 in the Class B state tournament first round held at Cadwell Park on August 7. Lennox scored one run in the sixth inning and another in the eighth, advancing to the next round. Talon Eich contributed with two hits, while Mason Reischl drove in the decisive run. On the mound, Conner Eich struck out five in six innings, and Braxton Musser closed the game, picking up the win. Groton, despite outhitting Lennox 9-6, left 11 runners on base and could not capitalize on their scoring opportunities.
