The vehicle, which Hamilton acquired recently, had been in storage for over 30 years before undergoing a restoration process in Maranello. During the inspection, Ferrari mechanics discovered the engine was stamped with the number 44, matching the racing number Hamilton uses in Formula 1. Hamilton chose to restore the car for driving rather than keeping it as a display piece to honor the history of the manufacturer at its home circuit. The car features a twin-turbocharged 90-degree V8 engine producing 478 horsepower and a top speed of 324 km/h.
