Lia Block wins national class at 2026 Ojibwe Forests Rally

MotorsportsLia Block secured her first American Rally Association national overall victory on Saturday at the Ojibwe Forests Rally in Bemidji, Minnesota. Driving a 2023 Hyundai i20 N Rally2, the 19-year-old became the first female driver to claim the top-class win in the national series. She was joined on the podium by co-driver Alessandro Gelsomino. The event concluded with a street stage at the Sanford Center, an addition the ARA intends to maintain as a recurring feature. Def Leppard guitarist Vivan Campbell finished third in the rally alongside co-driver Michael Hordijk in a 2022 Mitsubishi Mirage. Block previously competed in the F1 Academy before returning to U.S. rally racing, a discipline she previously shared with her late father, Ken Block.
