Liam Boyd earns player of the game honors for Michigan State

Michigan State kicker Liam Boyd received the top player honor following the team's week one victory over Toledo. Fans selected Boyd for the recognition after he provided 16 points during the game at Spartan Stadium. Boyd successfully converted five of six field goal attempts, hitting from distances of 32, 42, 48, 35, and 51 yards. He also added a successful extra point. His only miss occurred on a 54-yard attempt that was blocked by the Toledo defense.
