Liam Coen addresses impact of Etienne's departure from Jaguars

Following the departure of Travis Etienne Jr. to the New Orleans Saints, Jaguars head coach Liam Coen discussed the challenges of replacing him. Etienne, who had a standout season in 2025 with over 1,100 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns, leaves a significant void. The Jaguars are now relying on running backs Bhayshul Tuten and Chris Rodriguez Jr. to lead the backfield. Tuten has shown promise in offseason practices, while Rodriguez returns from injury. The Jaguars have not yet named a starting running back ahead of their preseason opener against the Saints this Saturday. Coen stated they will 'never be able to replace' Etienne’s contributions, emphasizing his importance to the team's success.
