Lil Yachty is pursuing a full-time career in WWE after his participation at September's Sunday Night’s Main Event. In a recent interview, he expressed a willingness to abandon his music career for wrestling, emphasizing the discipline required in the ring. Yachty highlighted the importance of captivating the audience during short segments while acknowledging the challenges of the profession. He indicated that a substantial offer and support from WWE could convince him to fully commit to wrestling, saying he would happily trade music for wrestling if he achieves success.

- 11:00 PMCageside Seats — Lil Yachty is trying to join WWE full-time, and he might quit music forever to do it
"Lil Yachty got his first taste of what it’s like to wrestle a match in WWE at Sunday Night’s Main Event in September when he survived five minutes in the ring with Baron Corbin, who is very tall. During a new interview with Complex News, Yachty said he is trying to do WWE full-time and is willing to leave his music career behind to make it happen. “You got to bring your shit. I always talk to wrestlers about this. You just don’t have the leeway…you got X amount of time, and you got to make everything count. You got to captivate that audience…you got a real small time in your segment to get your point across, your message across, and be remembered for six more days, until next Friday. And hope that you captivated so good that Friday, in six days, you back on TV again. If you fuck up or you do some bullshit, you might not be on TV that next week. So it’s a lot more militant and disciplined. I love it, man. If I go full-time, I’m trying to go full-time, I won’t ever put an album out ever again.” If WWE pushes Yachty and pays him enough money, he’ll be very happy doing flips and getting thrown through tables for a living. I think a lot of pro wrestling fans would also sign up for that arrangement. “Bro, if I climb the ranks in WWE and get the checks that I want, this music shit can kiss me goodbye. I swear to God. I will be back flipping, getting thrown through tables, and whatever else, until my body [gives] out on me.” Do you think the 29-year-old rapper has what it takes and is serious about becoming a full-time pro wrestler for WWE? Give me your reaction in the comments below, Cagesiders.
