Lilia Davies wins OCM poll after strong D3 state championships

Lilia Davies, a recent graduate of Plymouth South, has been named the final Old Colony Memorial Athlete of the Week for the spring sports season. She earned this recognition after placing third in the discus throw and fourth in the shot put at the MIAA Div. 3 state championships on May 28. Davies garnered 58 percent of the vote in the OCM poll, considerably ahead of Plymouth North's Willow Herndon, who received 22 percent and secured her third MVP award. This honor caps off Davies' impressive track career with the Panthers, where she was also awarded the Patriot League MVP. A final poll for the overall MVP of the spring season will be announced soon.
