Linfield has signed attacking midfielder Kitt Nelson on a season-long loan from Preston North End. The 21-year-old joins after scoring five goals in 33 appearances while on loan at Cork City during the 2025 League of Ireland season. Nelson, who came through the Preston academy, is yet to make his senior debut for Preston. He is Linfield's fifth signing of the summer, following Ryan Nolan, Kobei Moore, Dylan Wells, and Aidan Glavin. Linfield heads to Limavady United next for their upcoming match.
