Lions and Saints release inactive rosters before Sunday game at Ford Field

The Detroit Lions and New Orleans Saints have finalized their inactive lists ahead of their matchup at Ford Field on Sunday, Sept. 13. The Lions will be without cornerbacks Ennis Rakestraw Jr. and Christian Izien, with Izien sidelined by a groin injury and Rakestraw scratched. Detroit also excluded defensive lineman Mekhi Wingo, defensive lineman Ahmed Hassanein, and linebacker Jimmy Rolder from the roster. To address depth concerns, the team elevated defensive lineman Ben Stille from the practice squad on Saturday. The Saints face the contest with several notable absences, including running back Alvin Kamara, quarterback Zach Wilson, and defensive end Cam Jordan. The two teams prepare for kickoff as they adjust their depth charts to compensate for these personnel losses.
