Lions consider trading Sam LaPorta to Bears before deadline

Summary

The Detroit Lions are contemplating a trade involving tight end Sam LaPorta as the November 10 deadline approaches. LaPorta is in his final year of his rookie contract and has expressed dissatisfaction with his situation in Detroit. With the Chicago Bears losing Cole Kmet for the season due to injury, they may seek LaPorta as a replacement, potentially creating a strong tight end duo with Colston Loveland. The Lions could seek high draft picks in return, looking to refresh their roster while LaPorta’s performance has kept him in Pro Bowl discussions this season.
