Lions explore Giovanni Manu's role at offensive guard for 2026 season

The Detroit Lions are trying out Giovanni Manu at offensive guard ahead of the 2026 season. Previously a left tackle, Manu started one game last season before an injury placed him on reserve. Coach Dan Campbell indicated the evaluation may help determine the best position for Manu, as he also continues to work at tackle. The Lions' offensive line depth has been bolstered by the addition of Juice Scruggs and Ben Bartch.
