Lions lose preseason opener to Bengals despite Hassanein's strong performance
Summary

Despite a solid first half from rookie quarterback Luke Altmyer, the Lions struggled offensively, with Altmyer totaling 13 completions for 130 yards and one touchdown. The Lions managed to score late in the game but could not secure a final drive after an interception by Bengals defensive back Russ Yeast.
