The Detroit Lions have placed safety Kerby Joseph and two other players on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list as Training Camp begins for the 2026 NFL season. Joseph, who had a chronic knee injury leading to 11 missed games last season, expressed hope for a healthy start, but this recent development suggests otherwise. Unless he is removed from the PUP list before team rosters are finalized in late August, he will miss the first four games of the regular season. Lions head coach Dan Campbell emphasized a cautious approach regarding Joseph’s health.
