Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs signs endorsement deal with Kool-Aid

Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs has joined the Kool-Aid brand as an official hydration athlete. The partnership also includes Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams and Carolina Panthers wide receiver Xavier Legette. The brand is launching a new line of electrolyte-infused hydration drinks available in three flavors, including tropical punch, blue raspberry lemonade, and grape. While promotional materials feature Gibbs with the tropical punch flavor, all three athletes will serve as brand ambassadors for the rollout. This announcement occurs just before the Detroit Lions prepare for their season opener at Ford Field. The team is scheduled to host the New Orleans Saints on September 13 at 1 p.m. ET.
