Lions sign K.J. Britt and Owen Pappoe amid Jack Campbell's injury

Summary

The Detroit Lions have signed linebacker K.J. Britt to their active roster and Owen Pappoe to their practice squad following Jack Campbell's injury. Britt joins from the New England Patriots' practice squad and is expected to bolster the lineup, while Pappoe adds depth, especially on special teams. The Lions recently lost Campbell and rookie Jimmy Rolder, prompting these moves to ensure coverage at linebacker. Malcolm Rodriguez and Derrick Barnes are expected to start, with Trevor Nowaske likely as a third linebacker.
