Lions sign Raheem Blackshear as running back depth following Vaki injury

The Detroit Lions signed veteran running back Raheem Blackshear after Sione Vaki sustained a broken nose and eye injury. Vaki's injury will keep him sidelined for a period, while Jahmyr Gibbs is currently holding out for a contract extension. With a shortage of depth at running back, the Lions waived receiver Lawrence Keys, who suffered a hamstring injury during practice. Other running backs were also brought in for tryouts, including Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Hassan Haskins, and Kylin James.
