Lions unsure about Kerby Joseph's knee injury status ahead of training camp

Detroit Lions coach Dan Campbell provided an update on All-Pro safety Kerby Joseph's knee injury, indicating uncertainty around his readiness for the upcoming season. Joseph, who missed 11 games last year due to the same injury, hasn’t played since a Week 6 loss to the Chiefs. Campbell stated that a clearer picture regarding Joseph's recovery wouldn't emerge until training camp, noting that the team is being cautious. The Lions have bolstered their safety depth in anticipation of challenges, especially as Brian Branch is expected to be sidelined for part of the training camp and possibly the regular season due to an Achilles injury.
