The 2026 Little League World Series commenced today in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, featuring 20 teams of 10- to 12-year-olds. The tournament will run until August 30, culminating in a showdown between the U.S. champion and the international victor. Florida's Chaires-Capitola All-Stars, previous state champions, were eliminated in regional play by Phenix City, Alabama. Only three teams return from last year: Vancouver, Canada; Tokyo, Japan; and Brno, Czechia. TV broadcasts will be available on ESPN, ESPN2, and ABC.
