Liverpool agree deal to sign Belgian goalkeeper Lucca Brughmans

Liverpool have reached an agreement with Genk to sign 18-year-old goalkeeper Lucca Brughmans. The Belgium Under-19 player will remain with Genk on loan for the remainder of the current season to accumulate first-team experience before moving to Anfield next summer. Liverpool secured the teenager for an initial fee reported to be well below £28 million. The club currently manages a goalkeeper roster that includes Alisson and Giorgi Mamardashvili, with the latter reportedly drawing interest from Nottingham Forest. In addition to this transfer, Liverpool are expected to finalize a £106 million deal for Bradley Barcola. Barcola has already completed his medical examination and will become the team's fourth signing of the summer, following previous arrivals Jeremy Jacquet, Victor Munoz, and Ronald Araujo.
