Liverpool agrees to transfer Stefan Bajcetic to Celta Vigo

Liverpool has reached an agreement to transfer midfielder Stefan Bajcetic to Celta Vigo on a permanent deal. The move includes a €1.5 million initial fee plus performance-related add-ons, with Liverpool retaining a buy-back option for the player. Bajcetic is expected to sign a three-year contract and will initially join Celta Fortuna to focus on regaining match fitness. After joining Liverpool from the Celta Vigo academy in 2020, the 21-year-old saw his progression interrupted by persistent physical setbacks and injuries. He spent recent periods on loan at Red Bull Salzburg and Las Palmas before undergoing hamstring surgery. Celta Vigo head coach Claudio Giráldez and Celta Fortuna coach Fredi Álvarez aim to use the second-tier side to provide a controlled environment for his recovery.
