Liverpool confirms enquiry for Marc Bernal amid midfield concerns

Summary

Liverpool has made an enquiry for midfielder Marc Bernal as the team seeks to strengthen its squad. The club's midfield has faced challenges, with players missing due to injury and suspension. Currently, only Trey Nyoni and Alexis Mac Allister are available in the Premier League midfield. As Liverpool aims for improvement after a fifth-place finish last season, the acquisition of Bernal appears to be a strategic move, with sources indicating growing interest in the young player from several top clubs. Bernal is under contract with Barcelona until 2031, but limited playing time may prompt a transfer this January.
