Liverpool continues pursuit of Jarrad Branthwaite amid center-back needs

Summary

Liverpool is committed to acquiring Jarrad Branthwaite from Everton, even as the chances remain slim. The center-back had a challenging season, with only 680 Premier League minutes played, raising concerns among potential suitors. Despite this, Liverpool is intrigued by his homegrown status and past performance, particularly his strong season under Sean Dyche in 2023/24. Branthwaite's value appears impacted by a decline in on-ball influence, and Liverpool aims to revive his performance level. Further developments are expected as they explore this opportunity.
