Liverpool defender Calum Scanlon targeted for loan by Cardiff and Sheffield Wednesday

Liverpool's Calum Scanlon is reportedly attracting interest from Cardiff City and Sheffield Wednesday for a potential loan this summer. With squad management becoming crucial at Anfield, outgoing loans for younger players like Scanlon are expected to intensify. After gaining experience during a loan at Cardiff last season, he is likely to seek regular playing time, which both clubs can offer. Cardiff City, where Scanlon previously played, may provide a more familiar environment, while Sheffield Wednesday presents competitive options for his development. A decision is anticipated soon as Liverpool's strategies around loan placements take shape.
