Summary

Liverpool defeated Wrexham 1-0 at Yankee Stadium on July 30 in their second pre-season fixture under new manager Andoni Iraola. A deflected strike from Rio Ngumoha in the second half ensured the win, following a prior victory over Sunderland. The Reds will next face Leeds in Chicago, where senior players like Florian Wirtz and Ryan Gravenberch are expected to make their pre-season debuts.
